From our weekly satsang at our home in Mexico, in the Ajijic area near Guadalajara. We watch several short nondual and Advaita Vedanta videos from a variety of sources, and finish off with something from our long-time teacher, Nome of Society of Abidance in Truth – SAT, in Santa Cruz, CA.
Bhagavan Sri Ramana Maharsh- Who Dies?
This video highlights the essence of the teaching and awakening of Ramana Maharshi. Meeting your physical death is an essential aspect of true Self-inquiry and is contained in the very intimate inquiry; Who dies? A few days before his death Ramana said, “They say that I am dieing, but where will I go? I am Here.” My direct experience is this timeless statement of Sri Bhagavan is the absolute Truth. His presence is a visceral experience at Ramana Ashram in Tiruvannamalai India.
The video was originally produced by Premananda and includes a very insightful discussion with David Godman who is a prolific writer on the life and teaching of Ramana Maharshi. David has lived at Ramana Maharshi’s Ashram in India for over thirty years. After years of research, interviews with devotees, and the many books he has written, David is considered to be one of the foremost authorities on the Life and Teaching of Sri Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi. The footage of Ramana combined with the perspective of both Premananda and David is powerful transmission of the purity and Grace of Ramana’s teaching.
