Weekly Satsang, July 16, 2016

by

We hold satsang weekly at our home in Mexico, in the Ajijic area near Guadalajara. We watch several short nondual and Advaita Vedanta videos from a variety of sources, and finish off with something from our long-time teacher, Nome of Society of Abidance in Truth – SAT, in Santa Cruz, CA.

Ramana: Abide as the Self (Part I)

This is the first half of a longer Ramana Video. A special collection of rare photographs enhances Ramana’s presence and captures the compassion and grace of one of the most respected sages of our time. The inspired narration by Ram Dass provides an overview of Ramana’s teachings. Also included are interviews with H.W.L. Poonja, Douglas Harding, and others, Very worth watching.

Mooji: Self and Mind: A Distinction

Mooji talks about “Why be so faithful, so loyal, to that which makes you so unhappy?,” meaning the mind.

Nome: Indivisible and Invariable

Beginningless and endless existence is what you are. It is indivisible, partless and forever. Listen to Nome talk about your indivisible nature. Inquire as you listen. Know yourself and be happy.

If you want, take a few minutes and inquire. Use the spiritual depth you may have gained from listening today.
